Abishek Porel was named as a replacement for Rishabh Pant in IPL 2023 and the 21-year-old Bengal boy did a decent job for the team.
Porel made his First-Class debut for Baroda in February 2022. He has made 695 runs at a 30.21 average and six half-centuries in 16 FC matches. Porel has also played three List A games and three T20s.
Porel will look to live up to the expectations and make it count in this IPL edition.
